jockey-gtk crashed on startup

Please don't shoot me right away if something vital is missing, I'm not an expert ...

Ubuntu 9 (jaunty) dev V6 fresh install from mini.iso(gtk), 'kubuntu-desktop' option set, nothing added, no drivers recompiled.

The error is reproduceable. Target machine is a CLEVO P3-M / iNTEL 82x P2 chipset / RagetLT notebook. On startup with a USB2.0 PCMCIA card inserted (NEC - many vendors but chip is always the same AFAIK - there's only one for PCMCIA) and a MSI digi vox mini II DVB-device inserted on one of the USB 2.0 ports.

When not inserting the card prior to startup the error does not occur. When inserting the card but not inserting the DVB device to the card prior to startup the error does not occur.

This error does not occur on Ubuntu 8 (Ibex) on the same machine.

After the crash, the USB 2.0 card does not report any actions on inserted USB devices via dmesg any longer - full restart needed.

The DVB - device itself however works fine (kaffeine) when inserting it after startup has been finished.
