Bug Description

Binary package hint: zsnes

It's not exactly like #250425 (i.e. no glibc buffer overflow detection) but similar:

The core dump. Somehow apport is not really able to deal with this. The proc was in tracing stop because I had it in gdb, but gdb does not give anything meaningful despite zsnes-dbgsym being installed. (Maybe dying somewhere in the x86 asm.)

It works when starting with -ad sdl for the first time. It happens on the wrong audio device.

I am getting this error in Jaunty x64. I have two sound cards and pulseaudio. The following command seems to have gotten Zsnes working, thanks to bmhm:

$ zsnes -ad sdl

This bug wasn't fixed upstream but had a workaround at http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=12339. Closing with that workaround. If there are still issues please file a new bug report.
