I've also just experienced this error after updating my packages. Same stack-trace.

I've just noticed the date of the original bug report, and nephi513's commentm and was surprised to realise that this defect is more than a couple of weeks old. I've been updating Jaunty daily for the past month or so, and have only just run into this problem today. Until then, I've had no problems running the MonoDevelop 2.0 beta 2 on a daily basis.

I managed to work around this problem by completely removing all of my monodevelop related packages, and then reinstalling them. That's not to say that a complete reinstall was necessary to solve the problem - merely that doing so was sufficient to resolve the problem.

Don't know where the problem was, but one day, it started to work again. I haven't updated jaunty since, but I'll do it soon (probably tomorrow). I'll post the result then.

I've just updated ubuntu and I got that error again (version changed from 1.9.2 to 1.9.3). Reinstalling did NOT help.
