Bug Description

Binary package hint: ldap-auth-client

In hardy, the profile lac_ldap defined in /etc/auth-client-config/profile.d/ldap-auth-config, installed by package ldap-auth-config, should not set shadow to resolve to LDAP in /etc/nsswitch.conf (directive "nss_shadow=shadow: files ldap").

I cannot think of a use-case where this would be what the user actually wants to do. Moreover, the profile actually configure PAM to authenticate to pam_ldap, making the idea of resolving shadow to LDAP redundant.
