Bug Description

Upon install of Kubuntu 9.04 alpha 6 the Kmenu would display fine (other than issues related to panel corruption, filed in bug #345076). After updating the system this morning (via apt-get dist-upgrade) the Kmenu will not open. I have tried by clicking on the icon, and by pressing Alt-F1. In both cases the Kmenu fails to open.

Er, I just noticed that there _is_ a reaction when clicking on the Kmenu. The upper left and upper right corners of the Kmenu appear, but nothing else. It is difficult to see in the screenshot, but on the right side of the image, about mid-height, the two corners appear (about 250 pixels apart, horizontally).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. If you could test the current Ubuntu development version, this would help us a lot. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #>, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
