Hi kylena,

I see the following in your DpkgTerminalLog:

run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/postinst.d/nvidia-common

run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/nvidia-common exited with return code 10

Failed to process /etc/kernel/postinst.d at /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic.postinst line 1002.

Your bug really seems like a duplicate of bug 303825 which was resolved by either reinstalling nvidia-common or remove the package. For now I'll mark this as a duplicate of bug 303825. Please comment there if this is still an issue for you. Thanks.
