Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase

On Kubuntu Jaunty with all updates applied, the battery icon in the PowerDevil applet (accessed by clicking the battery icon in the system tray) appears stretched horizontally. Additionally, the battery percentage does not appear on top of the icon. Both of these problems go away if the applet is resized and then returned to its normal size.

The stretching part of the bug was fixed in KDE 4.2.2, but the failure to display the percentage until resize still occurs.

I think there was some work on problems like this later on in the 4.3 dev cycle. Could you check to see if this is still an issue in RC2 please?
