open links on firefox

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When I click on a link belonging to the website to replace the actual (classic navigation), it opens on a new window. It doesn't happen for every session.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 344948, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Hi,

As you can imagine, things have changed and also my computer. I had a old Acer, and the heat killed it in Cambodia.
I'm thinking to reinstall ubuntu but I'm wandering if there will be compatibility with the windows 7 I actually have on my dell inspiron because I need to keep both system to ensure the capacity to use several programs that only work under windows.*If you have any tips, cheers!

Please see http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download install it! section. You want install Ubuntu alongside another operating system. When the computer turns on, will ask You for starting Ubuntu or Windows. But first try the live cd mode for check the compatibility with hardware, try it! section . Don´t hesitate to ask here or in https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/
