Bug Description

Binary package hint: kate-kde4

then I try to open this file kate crashes.
1. Kubuntu 8.10
2. Kate 3.2.1 KDE 4.2.1

Some bugs with kate crashes was been solved at las SVN commit in this bug:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178789
Maybe your problem was solved too. Waiting for this commit comes to ubuntu updates..

I cannot reproduce the crash with KDE 4.3.1, so I am assuming that the bug is now fixed. Please reopen if this is not the case.
