Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Hey Guys,

I have am using Jaunty Alpha 6 X86 and have found that the Gnome-Panel is always defaulting to screen :0.0 when duel screens are setup to run on separate sessions. Programs launched on screen 2 are opening up on screen 1. This does not seem to happen using FireFox but is happening on all the other menu items, with a custom launcher on the Desktop, or using the right click menus on the desktop or the panels.

On the other hand, if I open the programs through the run line (which shows up on the correct screen with alt-f2) they open up correctly and in the right session.

My System Info:
Jaunty Alpha 6 X86
NVIDIA 180.37 Using Duel Monitors configured for Separate X screens.

$DISPLAY when on screen 2 echos :0.1 (in case that helps)

*Unfortunately the two monitors have different resolutions, so using twin view (while technicly possible) doesn't work very well.

Thanks
LaChild
