I was doing nothing in kopete, actualy. Had one open conversation, but it was idle.

If you have been able to trigger this crash more than once, we would like you to install kdenetwork-dbg and run kopete in gdb as indicated at https://wiki.kubuntu.org/Backtrace to retrieve a valid crashlog. If this is no longer an issue or you cannot reproduce the bug anymore, feel free to close this or let us know so we can close it.
