Bug Description

It happens so often and kicks me back to gdm. The unique solution I've found was run pidgin in a console window, to avoid get a xorg zap.

BTW, apport isn't catching this.

Thank you for reporting this problem, it helps us make Ubuntu better. Please answer a few questions:

1. Please list the exact steps we need to take to reproduce this bahavior.
2. How often does this behavior happen? Always, most of the time or occasionally?

This will help, thank you

Open Pidgin and wait it crash, dragging the xserver session together.

It happens ramdomly. Since last restart it's working 2 hours or more.

I have a file with debugging output, but I can't put it here (may have
confidential data). Could I send it to your e-mail?

The xorg zap is unrelated to Pidgin. Now, few minutes after a reboot it happened again, but Pidgin wasn't running.

If I get a clue about this, I'll open another bug report regarding the xorg behaviour.
