Firefox 3 total freeze when attempting to play youtube video - freeze happens when transferring data from v22.cache.

This is a question rather than a bug. You have a couple of options for this. You can always check out the Medibuntu project and look at getting MPlayer, or my recommendation is (assuming you are in the Gnome environment), go to Add/Remove Programs. There is a series of packages beginning with Gstreamer which can be used with Totem. I am not sure which package you need, as I have them all loaded. Perhaps someone can tell you specifically which one(s) you need.
