Bug Description

Binary package hint: amsn

I have a webcam:
Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd Flexcam 100

The camera light is switched on immediately after Ubuntu boots.
Using Cheese I can see a picture of the camera.

But is is impossible to use the camera with aMSN & Skype, when I go to "preferences/webcam" the webcam is detected but there is no image just a complete black frame

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10. I've tried all the drivers and forums suggestions but still nothing.
