Bug Description

Digikamversion 0.9.4, Kubuntu 64 bit

Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10

When trying to delete an image I get the following error:
"Nie można zmienić nazwy pliku /home/knt/Obrazy/Moje zdjęcia/Koncerty/20090307_-_Mundo_Cafe_-_Mir_-_Akurat/Mir/dsc_6786.jpg."
Witch translated stands for "Cannot change file name {full path and file name}".

I've tried the following:
-changing the path, so it won't have spaces or national characters (the "ę"),
 -moving the images inside digikam,
-deleting digikamrc and digikamui.rc (leftovers from KDE 3 on Debian),
 -deleting and regenerating the database
-importing new files (can't delete them too).
Nothing helps.

Do you use KDE3 or KDE4?
I suspect this may be related to Trash Bin handling (KDE3 app on KDE4 desktop)?

I would suggest that you try to reproduce this when you upgrade to Jaunty.

I'm afraid that this got pointless, because I've already upgraded to Jaunty, witch forced an uninstalation of digikam, witch then I've reinstalled in a newer version (witch is now 0.10.0-1ubuntu3).

Thanks for reporting back. Will close for now, feel free to reopen if you can reproduce with KDE4 version.
