After updating Kernel, Wired connection does not work

Bug Description

After recently updating from the 2.6.27-7 kernel to the 2.6.27-11, i was unable to connect to the internet via the wired network. The same goes when updating to 2.6.27-9 or 2.6.27-13.
The only kernel where i am able to use my wired network is 2.6.27-7 and previous kernels.
I am using ubuntu intrepid ibex on a acer aspire one netbook.
there are several others who suffer from the same problem.

Are you 100% sure this is also broken in 2.6.27-13? Please comment in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/326891

2.6.27-13 fixed it for me.
