Bug Description
I have installed one previous Jaunty alpha version using ext3 and never had the system hang for no apparent reason. Now the system (x) hangs on the average of once every 2 hours for no apparent reason. I can't find a pattern because it happens, sometimes, when I am doing nothing and sometimes it happens when copying files to an external drive. It has happened. 4 out of 5 times the system is sitting idle when I find it locked. Please let me know what I can do to help triage this bug. I can recreate the bug by just letting the system idle. What logs would be helpful?

I've found a pattern. All I have to do is copy files to my external drive. In less than a minute after completion of the copy, my whole computer locks up requiring a hard boot.
