It seems drm module was not updated properly, so the new version doesn't work.

I'm re-marking this bug 'fix-released'.

The current bug report was a request to sync Ubuntu's xserver-xorg-video-nouveau package with Debian unstable's. Steve did that.

If you're having issues with the new package, please open a new bug report against xserver-xorg-video-nouveau.

Denis, don't reopen the sync request when you're just seeing a crash. It causes confusion for the archive team.

If you believe libdrm was not updated properly, you need to explain that in more detail, but in a bug filed against libdrm. Looking at your bug, I don't see evidence libdrm is involved in your crash, so wonder how you come to that conclusion. Please explain further on bug 344762.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I thought if the updated package doesn't work because its dependencies were not updated - the package cannot be counted as 'updated' either.
