Bug Description

Play a song. Once the time is reduced to 0:01 on the right, select a different song by double-clicking on it.
The currently-playing song will stay in the playlist (as designed), but the newly-selected song will de removed from the playlist.
In addition, The newly-selected song is played, while the interface pretends nothing is playing (with the exception of the play button being pressed)
Play, FFW and RW buttons work, but not next and previo

I can still easily reproduce this with Version 0.3 (1081M).

There is a related problem. I suspect it has similar causes, but I can't know for sure.

To reproduce, add two songs to the play queue, and make sure that the second is longer than the first (just a few seconds is ok). Then play the first song, and when it reaches 0:01 pause the player (with space or by clicking the play arrow).

Now, the player stops and moves to the next song. However, when you start playing again, it will start playing the second song at the time offset the first song ended, and the time display will not be updated.

So, if your second song is 10 seconds longer than the first, the last 10 seconds of it will be played.

Note: I'm mostly using Ogg Vorbis files, if that should have anything to do with it.

I have now switched to mp3, but problems like this persist. Last night I had Play play a whole song while the display showed that a completely different song was being played.

I experience this problem as well, with various file formats such as mp3, mp4 and flac.
