Bug Description
Binary package hint: debian-installer
Tried installing jaunty-
Loading kernel
/pci/@d/
So I tried again and it worked, until I got to:
[!!]Load installer components from CD
No kernel modules were found. ...
Continue the installer without loading kernel modules?
I then did 'check-powerpc', which also said:
Please wait, loading kernel...
/pci/@d/
I tried it again and this time it loaded and passed. I did not have either the kernel modules or the filesystem problem yesterday when using the previous build (20090228?).
$ md5sum ./jaunty-
26aa9c587acb100
$ dd if=/dev/sr0 | md5sum
26aa9c587acb100
1354248+0 records in
1354248+0 records out
693374976 bytes (693 MB) copied, 485.064 s, 1.4 MB/s
This md5sum matches that of http://
The no kernel modules found message is because there is a newer kernel on the disk than what d-i knows about. Once new daily CD images get built, this will pick up a new d-i image, and hense work properly.
As to the first problem, I am not sure what that could be, reht efilesystem.
