Bug Description

Binary package hint: wireless-crda

Hi,

wireless-crda's udev rules /lib/udev/rules.d/85-regulatory.rules contains this rule:

KERNEL=="regulatory*", ACTION=="change", SUBSYSTEM=="platform", RUN+="/sbin//crda"

The extra slash is ugly and should be removed.

Thank you for helping with making Ubuntu and wireless-crda better by reporting this bug.
The bug you reported is a duplicate of bug#336915, I'm marking it as such. All further communication should take place in that bug report.

The content of lp:~qense/ubuntu/karmic/wireless-crda/fix-336915 should fix this the latest issue with the rules file. The current problem is that the content of the RUN field is /sbin//crda". This is harmless, but ugly.

Changed in wireless-crda (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Triaged
summary: - Invalid command in udev rule causes warning on boot
+ Malformed command in udev rules
