Bug Description

I've just done my first installation of Nexenta v2.0 beta2 and have found that '/etc/skel/.profile' (and thus '~/.profile') is from OpenSolaris, while the Debian/Ubuntu version is called '/etc/skel/.profile.dpkg-dist'. I assume that this could be fixed by removing the OpenSolaris version of '/etc/skel/.profile' before the Debian/Ubuntu bash package is installed.

In my case (sshing to the Nexenta system using PuTTY), this problem causes '.bashrc' not to be sourced, so I don't get bash completion or colour `ls`.

For some reason, I could not report this bug as belonging to the bash package even though this was listed in the 'Select a Package' search results. The error I saw was '"bash" does not exist in Nexenta Operating System.'.

Thanks,

Rupert
