Bug Description

If I have 5 folders on my desktop that I'd like to import into banshee, I'd like to be able to go to 'File' 'Import Media...' 'Local Folder' and then control click all the folders, and import all those folders in one go.

'Import Folder' shows that banshee can import more than one file in one go, so the user probably expects that it can import more than one folder in one go.

"Local Folder" (note: Folder, not Folders) referring to a single folder
as well as "Local Files" (note: Files, not File) referring to multiple
files/folders is the expected behaviour I should think, and that's the
way it is right now.

Yes. So shouldn't it be changed from "Local Folder" to "Local Folders" ?
Importing from a Local Folder can also import from more than one folder,
since banshee can deal with subfolders.

To use your original example, you should import the folder Desktop which will capture all the folders you want.

Are you suggesting the wording doesn't reflect the current behavior? Or are you suggesting an enhancement to the ability of Banshee, namely that you could import multiple folders at once?

That is a work around, however, I also have several other folders of
music that I've already imported. I don't want them imported again. (I
have a feeling that banshee is already smart enough to not do that.)

The current wording is accurate. It describes what Banshee does. I'm
suggesting an improvement, specifically, the ability to import more than
one folder at a time.
