Bug Description

Binary package hint: korganizer

Using jaunty packages here (version listed below) When I open an 'agenda view' in korganizer (ie, day view or week view), the area where the calendar should be is completely blank.

Screenshot attached (however, there seems to be an additional black area in the screenshot. This is not present on the actual UI)

This problem also occurs with a completely new user with no existing KDE settings.

[jk@pingu ~]$ apt-cache policy korganizer
korganizer:
  Installed: 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1 0

Fixed upstream, but we should apply the patch too.

OK, Interesting. I had "0,0" as the config parameter for "Separator AgendaView", so looks like this change won't affect my setup here - sizes.count() would return 2, so we'd get the unpatched behaviour regardless.

Workaround is simple though, I just put sensible values in there instead (in my case, "400,600").

Oh, nevermind. This was committed upstream for KDE 4.2.2; we don't have to do any extra patching. :-)
Once 4.2.2 is released this will be fixed.

Thanks very much for your reply. I'm glad to hear that this bug is already
fixed.

This bug was fixed in the package kdepim - 4:4.2.2-0ubuntu1

---------------
kdepim (4:4.2.2-0ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low

  [ Jonathan Thomas ]
  * Move akonadiconsole to kdepim-dev, since it's mostly used for development
    stuff anyways, and pollutes the menu otherwise (LP: #335766)

  [ Steve Stalcup ]
  * New upstream release
  * Bump KDE versions in debian/control to 4.2.2
  * Update kdepim-doc.install file

  [ Andreas Wenning ]
  * debian/kleopatra.install: Also install the libkleopatraclientgui.so.0
    and libkleopatraclientcore.so.0
  * Update debian/libkholidays4.install and debian/kalarm.install

I have got jaunty with KDE and still have this problem:
$ apt-cache policy korganizer

Monthly view of agenda works fine. But the week and daily view show up as blank - exactly the same as in the screenshot attached in previous comment.
