Bug Description

This bug report is similar to bug #278318 . The difference is that that bug was asking people switch from textured video to video overlay. The G45 doesn't have an overlay mode - the switch from textured video simply isn't possible.
This bug is being worked on upstream here: http://
A patch was committed upstream on about the 6th of March which purports to solve this problem. It would be nice to get this into the Jaunty release.

Hi willu-mailinglists,
Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.
