Happened to me but I did not notice any crash. Apport just popped up and told me about a firefox crash.

same here - i was syncing a zotero database at the time, but otherwise just on launchpad, reporting another bug...

In my case is very easy to reproduce this bug. I use CheckGmail v1.13svn (Ubuntu 9.04 beta), so everytime I receive email and I open CheckGmail from the Notification Area I get this error, even though that I am able to access my message as if nothing were wrong.

this was a bug in dns from what i understood. should be fixed in jaunty final.

Right now it's still affecting firefox-3.5: when opening firefox from external application, for example, clicking a link in Pidgin.
