hi, using ubuntu studio with gnome 2.24.1
my drives work fine with all other apps, but gcd master gui for cdrdao cant see any drives? in 64 studio gcd master worked fine? no one will help me on the ubuntu forum....

cdrdao uses an extremelx outdated version of libscg that cannot
deal with the incompatible interface changes introduced with Linux-2.6.8.1
I recommend you to upgrade libscg to a recent version from:
cdrecord.berlios.de
ftp://ftp.
note that there was a path name change in January 2007 and the
portability schily include files are now in include/schily/ instead of include/,
so the cdrdao source would need to be changed in order to allow to use a recent
libscg.
