sound like you dont have sound for flash files. There are a few dupes about this in intrepid, which should be resolved in jaunty. Maybe you can test a daily preveiew liveCD and see if your sound issues have gone away?

Also you might wanna try to run "killall pulseaudio" to cure your current sound issue for the running session.

Are you able to reproduce this in Jaunty? with flash 10.
Flash 10 has fixed this bug as well as a few others.

Ran an update last month and this is now fixed in Intrepid.
