that's a warning from the plugin that prevents your system to go to suspend without finished the burning process, is gnome-power-manager up and working? it communicates with that program.

Had the same issue today.

Launched

*dpkg-reconfigure brasero
*dpkg-reconfigure gnome-power-manager

Seems to be working again.

Looks to me more like a gnome-power-manager. The gnome-power-manager has bit unresponsive on one of my Ibex laptops.
