Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

With Jaunty alpha 5 up to date, setting show_desktop attribute to false (by typing ~$ gconftool-2 --type bool --set /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop false) changes the pointer into a never-ending spinner

No matter if a Nautilus window is opened when i set show_desktop attribute

I've noticed that setting show_desktop attribute to false creates some ghost processes
see system monitor screenshot attached
