Get browser startpage translated

If ubuntu-artwork provides a .pot file, Rosetta will have it to be translated.

I wanted to translate the startup HTML-page. Is it in the artwork package, i thought so.

That's a bit confusing, but it's Ubuntu-Docs.

The documents aren't ready to be translated yet, the document string freeze is the 6th of April, the templates for translating will be uploaded shortly after.

When they're done a mail will be sent out to the translators list and you'll be able to see them here: https://launchpad.net/projects/ubuntu-docs

Ok, we are going to need to do some work on this. The problem is not so much translating the text (should be easy, although getting a pot template from html is not a walk in the park), but we also need to make firefox ready to display translations. Luckily, we thought about this a bit, and have a brief spec. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DapperFirefoxStartPageTranslation

I will open a task on firefox on this bug, and talk to the maintainer, and we can go from there.

I have no idea if something similar is possible for epiphany.

Ok, I've talked to Ian about this and have uploaded some translations, and he will be working them into firefox.
