i had sound on my computer recently but i messed with something and it is gone now what do i do

Binary package hint: asoundconf-gtk

i try to restore it back to default but it not working.i dont now what to do i changed my audio to pulse and then i chage it back.but still no sound. my sound was squeaking first now it gone.

What are the outputs of

cat ~/.asoundrc*

and

speaker-test

and

asoundconf list

?
