can not get my password for googlemail inside the password window, I need more space

when Itry to get into my googlemail account, I can not fit my password. I need space for 17 letters, but after8 letters the space is finished.

Thanks, but I'm not sure why you think that is a Firefox issue - that would be a Google issue. And even though the box is only 17 characters wide, it still accepts input of more than 17 characters.
