Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

This error occurred on Ubuntu 8.10.
Brasero fails to close its open handles on the CD/DVD rom drive after a failed attempt to write where the failure is due to the media being too small to accept the iso.

brasero:
  Installed: 0.8.2-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.8.2-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.8.2-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://mirror.griffith.edu.au intrepid/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Steps to replicate:
Take a disk image that is oversized, in this case the jaunty-desktop-i386.iso daily build
Attempt to burn to a standard cd by right clicking and 'open with' Brasero disk burning.
Place a standard CD (to small) into the drive. Brasero will fail the burn and say the media is too small.
Click the cancel button to stop the burning process.
Attempt to repeat the process again, click burn

Brasero has an error saying: Error while burning: The drive can't be locked (ongoing burning process.).
