Bug Description
Binary package hint: libaudio2
Running Hardy (8.04.2)
libaudio2 version 1.9.1-1
Expected dependencies to be resolved successfully
Package dependency for nas, qcad, failed in Add/Remove area, Synaptic, and apt-get (all variants to include force, remove, etc.) Error suggests a file is simply missing a new line at the end, however, it could be a truncated file, so I am not able to determine if the package is repairable from my end. Unfortunately, this is a critical failure for the package and it doesn't even start to install.

At the risk of sounding like a story, I'll update with the following information: openprinting-ppds cannot be removed or purged due to it's being a dependent of the desktop and according to my system, it's the only version (20080211- 0ubuntu1) . This has apparently been the case for libaudio2 all along the chain from ver 1.9.1-1 to 1.9.1-5 as I've tried an override install from Gpkg 1, 4, & 5 of that tree and run into the same problem.
