Regression: In 0.8.1, "Request attention" is no longer indicated

Bug Description

In 0.8.0, a window that was requesting attention would turn its indicator light red to indicate such. In 0.8.1, this no longer occurs. The lights are always blue, even in situations where I am sure that windows are requesting attention.

Ok, I'll try that. For the record, I am currently using gnome-do_0.8.1~trunk+r1031-0~8.10~ppa1_amd64, which I built myself because the ppa doesn't seem to build amd64 versions.

What Ubuntu version are you using? I have seen this in jaunty with pidgin but it's not Do's fault, it's a pidgin issue.

I'm using Intrepid, but I installed a later version of Pidgin myself. I will downgrade to the standard Intrepid Pidgin and see if that fixes it.

I figured out the problem. In 0.8.0, the "Request attention" status was indicated by changing the color to red. Now, it's just indicated by a *brighter* blue. I didn't notice the subtle color change, but I did notice the lack of redness, so I thought it wasn't working.

So, now, my bug report is that I liked the color change better for the purpose of requesting attention.

Can you tell me what theme you are using so I can test this out. This
should not really happen.

If you mean GTK+ theme, I'm using a customized theme: Human controls, Oxygen icons, blue colors. I am testing the "Requesting attention" status by using purple-remote to send myself a message in Pidgin:

purple-remote 'aim:goim?screenname=MY_SCREEN_NAME&message=hi'

Aha! If the "Selected Items" Hue in Gnome Appearance Prefs is between 30 and 224 inclusive, the indicator will be red. Otherwise, the indicator will be blue.

The theme is immaterial. Only the hue of "Selected Items" matters. Several of the stock theme, such as Crux, exhibit the same behavior.
