Saner settings for the max scrollback in open chats?

Hi, I am going to enlist this as a wishlist, but in this report, I am asking that wouldn't it make more sense if the viewable scrollback lines for open chats in pidgin were removed in sync with the line_count exceeding max_scrollback_
Rather than what it is currently:
line_count > (max_scrollback
Also, maybe a more saner value for the "conversations/
Also, I think it would be a nice feature if this setting were made accessible to alter via the "Preferences" window, allowing the user to be aware of it and that they can alter it.
Attached to this report is a patch against the current jaunty sources as of this date with the changes I've made mention of.
