Bug Description

Multimedia button (Volume button/slider, muted/unmuted, Play/Pause, Stop, Forward, Backward) not working with my ubuntu intrepid on Acer 4935.

Actually this my new notebook, so i have not try install it with previous version of ubuntu. I heard that my acer aspire 4935 is new product, launch this year (in my country). My be the kernel need to be fixed.

The problem not just Multimedia button, it also have a problem with on board card reader and audio jack. Hope i can get solution to solve all this problem, because i already have changed the original vista into Ubuntu.. ^_^

Hello!

Bug is similar to my problem: keyboard volume control does not work (brightness control works).

I am using Xubuntu 9.04 on Acer Extensa 5210 notebook. Bug does not appear in Hardy.
