Monitor return "out of range" after install

Bug Description

After finish the upgrade the Ubuntu from 8.10 to 9.04 alpha5 and restart the computer, I can't access to ubuntu, after the load Ubuntu logo with progress bar, the Monitor return an "out of range" message.

I tried to install the 9.04 from the live cd, but also this step return a "out of range" (also if selected the "Try Ubuntu...")

My card video is ATI technologies Inc Rage 128 Pro Ultra TF
My Monitor is a Benq T904
