Bug Description

Ubuntu Jaunty running Compiz, alpha 5, alpha 6

1. Advance to the "Who are you?" step.
2. Enter a password less than 8 characters.
3. Choose "Forward".

What happens: A "Use weak password?" alert box appears that is maximizable.

What should happen: The alert box should not be maximizable (or it should be replaced by feedback embedded in the installer).

I am not able to reproduce this using the daily-live CD from 20090225 or 20090303. Matthew, do you recall what CD you used? Are you still able to reproduce this?

I used alpha 5, and it was running Compiz. I'll try with a daily shortly.

Please also check to see if disabling compiz makes the bug disappear. Thanks Matthew.

The weak password dialog has been replaced with a password strength meter, so I'm marking this as fixed.
