Language listbox is too narrow by default

In the first step of the installer, the listbox containing languages is too narrow to display many of the language names. The list begins with "No localiz", and also includes "Esperant", "Bahasa Iı", "Portuguê", "Portuguê", and so on.

The listbox should be wide enough to show all the items inside it.

This bug was previously reported, marked as High, and fixed two years ago as bug 105470. It may save time to fix bug 254644 at the same time as this bug.

I don't think this was actually fixed in bug 105470. Only the release notes bug appears to be fixed there.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 336728

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
