Bug Description

akonaditray (as found in akonadi-kde 4.2.0-0ubuntu1~intrepid3) installs a .desktop file that makes a new entry appear in Application → Internet submenu of the GNOME panel.

As akonaditray does not seem an user activated application (more a run-at-startup application), could its menu entry be hidden?

Has this problem with akonaditray been fixed in Jaunty?

You might as well want/have to start it manually so it makes sense to have it there. Maybe at a later stage in Akonadi's life we will hide it by default, for now you can do that with your menu editor of choice.
