Bug Description

The Asus M2NBP-VM CSM has no bluetooth at all. Anyway, similar to intrepid's alpha, boot hangs when bluetooth script tries to start something that is definitely not there. Needs to be disabled via script removal or in gnome with the "server" settings dialogue to end the hang.

Hello,

Could you enable bluetooth again, install bootchart, restart your system, hence provide the file /var/log/daemon and the picture generated under /var/log/bootchart/

Thanks a lot

Hm.. there is no /var/log/daemon (or deamon) but bluetooth IS active. I think this was tranistional and should be closed, I am on today's alpha.

I've also run into this problem. What is the current workaround to fix it... Sorry if I'm not being clear. I kind of a noob when it comes to this stuff. Is there a reason that this is hanging on the bluetooth load? is it similar to this problem?:

I'm currently using the ubuntu-9.04-desktop-X386 install that's on the download page on the Ubuntu site.
cheers,
