Bug Description
The default device for libdiscid is normally /dev/cdrom. Since Ubuntu does not have this device but instead uses /dev/cdrom1 this should be changed for the Ubuntu package.
I suggest applying a patch to the package for using /dev/cdrom1.

On my lucid system there is /dev/cdrom.
