Bug Description

I tried to install gnome-core (apt-get install gnome-core) but it doesn't install because of broken packages. My OS version is NCP2 Beta2. I did apt-get update before I started to install any packages.

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
gnome-core: Depends: eog (>= 2.20.3) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: gedit (>= 2.20.4) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: gnome-applets (>= 2.20.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: gnome-control-center (>= 1:2.20.1) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: gnome-panel (>= 2.20.2) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: gnome-session (>= 2.20.2) but it is not installable
Depends: gnome-terminal (>= 2.18.3) but it is not installable
Depends: nautilus (>= 2.20.0) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages

gnome-core still has unresolved dependecies:

notification-daemon
python-gtksourceview2
gnome-terminal

are the culprits that have no installation candidates

gnome-core installs fine for me on NCP2 Beta 2.

GNOME is unusable though, since gnome-panel hangs on start and then segfaults about 5 seconds later.
