[Jaunty] Mute button works partially on Thinkpad T500

The Mute button of my Thinkpad T500 didn't work at all on Ubuntu Intrepid ( kernel 2.6.27-11-generic ) but now works partially on Jaunty Beta.

I've tried all the methods to find the keycode from this page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/HotkeyResearch and got nothing.

Method 1 and 2 doesn't return any keycode for the Mute button, for method 3, I don't have a "/var/log/acpid" file and method 4 doesn't work either.

Here are the outputs of:

confirmed here on Debian unstable / sidux - not an ubuntu bug.

Now on Jaunty, the problem is a little different.
The button works to mute (although I get no notifications like with the volume) but it doesn't unmute when I press it again. I have to use the button "volume up or down" for that.
Also the button doesn't work at all with the headphone.
