Can't lnstall 'ubuntu-desktop''

Aftar installation of latest update the Sound disappeared.
The following message appears:

Cant install 'ubuntu-desktop'
It was impossible to install a required package. Please report this as a bug.

I expected the sound system to work properly, but it does not.

Thank you for your bug report. Please post the output of "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop"

The output of "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop: is:
Depends: gnome-app install but it is not going to be installed.
Recommends: gnome-games but it is not going to be installed.
Recommends: ubufox but its not to be installed.

I run apt-get -f install, as recommended, but no noticeable effect.

This looks like the same bug as #335623, which was recently resolved. Can you try "sudo apt-get update", then "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop"? Assuming your mirror has the updated package, it should work now.

Can you post the output of "apt-cache policy python-launchpad-integration", and the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list file (you can get that with "cat /etc/apt/sources.list"), please?

It looks like the mirrors.rit.edu mirror hasn't been updated with the latest version of python-launchpad-integration yet. That mirror's typically about two days behind, so it might be a day or two before you can use it to update packages. If you'd like to update sooner, you can change to a different mirror with System > Administration > Software Sources > Download from.

I am sorry to report to you that the 'update' using four different mirrors, (the last the Main Server), did not succeeded.
I get the same output from "apt-cache policy python-launchpad-integration".

The python-launchpad-integration 0.1.23 package is now on almost all of the mirrors, including the RIT mirror you were using originally. Have you successfully updated to it yet?

I downloaded the latest updates and and, now, I can install the Ubuntu desktop.
I hope that a solution will be foud for the remaining Bugs.
