totem-gstreamer invalid argument playback error

When I choice file to play, totem is going down.

After remove gstreamer0.10-alsa, totem-gstreamer works again.

Run in console: totem-gstreamer and open any file.

totem-gstreamer works for me with the 64bit 9.04, but sometimes playing stucks at startup, playing extremly slow or fast.
after one or more restarts it works again

Now I know what is wrong... I removed gstreamer0.10-alsa and totem-gstreamer works again.

When gstreamer0.10-alsa is installed, output from totem-gstreamer:

could people stop abusing the description to specify the version they are using? there is no reason why karmic when opening should not have the same issue, the bug is also not a conflict between totem-gstreamer and gstreamer alsa but rather a gstreamer bug

could you try if that's still an issue? do you get the bug if pulseaudio is not running?

How I can check status of pulseaudio and What I can shutdown pulseaudio?

look to the processus list and see if pulseaudio is running? you can uninstall it for example or stop the running processus if there is one
