Package epub-utils suggests a package "clit" but this is uninstallable (does not appear in the Ubuntu package list).

I would be inclined to change it to a recommends rather than suggests. The description of the package states that it includes two utilities one of which is " - lit2epub : converts a LIT file to EPub (using clit)." clit is in Ubuntu and Debian, but it seems to have changed to convlit, thus the dependency just needs to be changed.

Filed Debian Bug #529852 upstream. Dependency switched to convlit in
Debian, so this should fix itself for the next release, but should
probably be fixed here as well.
