Bug Description

Binary package hint: wine

When I want to launch an application with the wine freeware, nothing append.
Even the Wine configuration panel can't be launched.

My computer work with Ubuntu 9.04 alpha 5.

I have completly format my PC and when I wanted to launch Wine 1.0.1-0Ubuntu4, he said me :
"sudo wine notepad
wine: /home/zeus/.wine is not owned by you"

Do not run Wine as root using sudo. See: http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-96bebfa287b4288974de0df23351f278b0d41014 and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=885111
"# Never run Wine with sudo - Do not run Wine as root or by using sudo. Doing so doesn't help anything and will break your fake Windows installation entirely."
